Is 1 better than 2?
1 In my opinion is the best Rock Opera ever(Even better than Tommy).2 is ok but need better song placement.Plus a better intro.
Operatation Mindcrime verses Mindcrime 2?theater
1 is a classic. 2 is really a band on it's last legs trying to cash in on their previous success. While it is definitely miles above Q2K and Tribe, it doesn't hold a candle to the original mind crime. Queensryce is a band that has lost their vision. I think what made them so great was the diversity between Geoff Tate and Chris Degarmo. Once Degarmo left, Tate was left to his own devices, which unfortunately has not been good for the band. They bring in Mike Stone, who is talented, but was a man on Mindcrime 2 that was just trying to ape Degarmo's style. There ya go.

I have to go with the original, I have not even heard the new version. I haven't heard anybody talk about it, don't know anyone who owns it.......so what does that tell you?
operation mindcrime is masterpiece the "sequel" is alright if it was able to stand alone but it cant they put the operation mindcrime name on it making it an utter failure how dare they market in that way taking their best album ever and using the name again to peak interest they should be ashamed
